چکیده

Heading leafy vegetables (HLVs) are essential horticultural crops that feed many people worldwide. An increasing global population demands more cropping systems, leading to stresses such as fertilizer overuse and soil salination, decreasing in crop productivity agricultural sustainability. Hence, developing those eco-friendly farming strategies could simultaneously reduce usage increase harvest is urgent for agriculture. endophytic bacterium Burkholderia seminalis 869T2 with pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) producing ability were applied biostimulant vegetable seedlings under greenhouse or field conditions. Two globally important HLVs, cabbage head lettuce, preliminarily tested, further examinations in-field during two different seasons carried out develop an biostimulants (EBs)-assisted lettuce production system. In this study, we confirmed B. versatile EBs which significantly promote plant growth enhance the qualities of by harvested weight, size nutrient composition. Nevertheless, was accelerated weeks, together higher product 50% fertilizing cost savings per hectare. Our study provides EBs-assisted management decrease costs product’s value. The results highlight importance bacteria deserve investigation due their enigmatic symbiotic relationships hosts potential agro-industry.

Plant Hormesis Management with Biostimulants of Biotic Origin in Agriculture

Over time plants developed complex mechanisms in order to adapt themselves to the environment. Plant innate immunity is one of the most important mechanisms for the environmental adaptation. A myriad of secondary metabolites with nutraceutical features are produced by the plant immune system in order to get adaptation to new environments that provoke stress (stressors). Hormesis is a phenomenon...
